I also began to write as a hobby and found that not only do I love to read quality books, I enjoy the practice of word-smithing and started to learn as much as I could and put my new found love of writing into practice. At the same time as we were raising our then two children, my husband launched a small marketing business. It was clear from the beginning that he has the talent to help small business owners maximize sales and give them tools to serve their customers well. Way back then, I helped him write marketing content (I was copywriting!) and it turned out that it was a joy to use the power of words for good and for the growth of clients' businesses. His passion for helping small businesses succeed was contagious.

And now, after more years of schooling, writing, marketing, and another child in the mix, a good friend introduced me to a stellar Copywriting Certification program. I successfully graduated with certification in hand so that I can better serve YOU in your online business. I'm excited to help you make the most of your messaging!

I believe that we are all given gifts and as it turns out, they're not ours to own. They're best suited for the good of others. As I've launched this freelance copywriter business, one verse has been an anchor for me. It's from Psalm 24: 1,  "The earth is the Lord's and all it contains" I own nothing. It all belongs to God! That means in everything, from raising kids to writing words to launching businesses, it all belongs to Him and we get to steward these gifts with our best efforts. Little did I know that a number of seemingly unrelated decisions in the past ten years would lead me to start a freelance copywriting career. Ten years ago, we made the decision to homeschool our daughter, who would start kindergarten the following year. I left a part-time teaching career for something unknown and a little off the beaten path. Along our home education journey, I fell in love with books, stories and words. as we poured over beautifully crafted picture and chapter books, which ignited a love for truth, goodness, and beauty through story.
