I began to write as a hobby and found I enjoy the practice of word-smithing so I made time to put my new found love of writing into practice. As we were raising our then two young children, my husband launched a small marketing business. It was clear from the beginning that he has the talent to help small business owners maximize sales and give them tools to serve their customers well. Way back then, I helped him write marketing content (I was copywriting!) and it turned out to be a joy to use the power of words for good and for the growth of clients' businesses. His passion for helping small business owners succeed was contagious. 

With over ten years of copywriting experience serving business owners nation wide, a good friend introduced me to a stellar Copywriting Certification program. I successfully graduated with certification in hand so that I can better serve YOU in your online business. I'm excited to help you make the most of your messaging!

I believe that we are all given gifts and as it turns out, they're not ours to own. They're best suited for the good of others. As I've launched this freelance copywriting business, one verse has been an anchor for me. It's from Psalm 24: 1,  "The earth is the Lord's and all it contains."

It all belongs to God! Even our gifts & talents belong to Him. That means in everything, from raising kids to writing words to launching businesses, we get to steward these gifts knowing that it's all His anyway. If that resonates with you, then I can tell we're already aligned.

Little did I know that a number of seemingly unrelated decisions in the past ten years would lead to a freelance copywriting career. Ten years ago, we made the decision to homeschool our daughter, who would start kindergarten the following year. I left a part-time teaching career for something unknown and a little off the beaten path. Along our home education journey, I fell in more in love with books, stories and words.
